First Baptist Church is a historic church located in the city of Hackensack, NJ. Hackensack is the capital of Bergen County, one of the most densely populated counties in New Jersey. This church needed a new website that would present themselves in a modern aesthetic, yet communicated their historic beliefs and mission. Prior to the new website, First Baptist Church only had a one-page website that had minimal information. This new website provides information that new visitors, long-time families, and anyone in between can use!
Designing a modern website for a traditional and historic organization that had very little prior web presence.
The solution was to create a multi-page website that shares important information for church members, but also communicates a lot of information to visitors. Significant time was spent preparing content for the website as many pages needed to be created. Photos were taken to represent the families that attend First Baptist Church.
