If millions of people suddenly disappeared — including Christians, children, and people from every nation — then the event the Bible calls the Rapture has taken place.
The Bible describes it this way:
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
— 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
This was not an alien event, a government operation, or a natural phenomenon.
God has taken His people — those who truly belonged to Jesus Christ.
You were not abandoned, and you were not overlooked.
You are reading this because God is still giving you an opportunity to turn to Him.
As frightening as this moment is, it is not the end of your story. The fact that you are alive and reading this is evidence of God’s mercy and patience toward you.
“The one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”
— John 6:37
The years ahead will be marked by global chaos, deception, and judgment. The Bible has warned about this period for thousands of years. It will be extremely difficult, but many people will still come to saving faith in Jesus Christ during this time.
World leaders, media, and influential voices will offer their own explanations for what happened. They may blame aliens, spiritual “evolution,” mass hysteria, or something else. The Bible says deception will increase in the last days.
Whatever you are told, understand this:
The Bible accurately predicted what has just taken place.
You can still be saved. Jesus Christ died for your sins, rose from the dead, and is the only way to be forgiven and reconciled to God.
“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
— Romans 10:13
Talk honestly to God. Admit your sin, your unbelief, and your need for Him. Ask Jesus to forgive you, to save you, and to be the Lord of your life. This is not about repeating special words. It is about truly trusting Him and surrendering your life to Him.
Start with these books and chapters:
John – to understand who Jesus is and what salvation means.
1 and 2 Thessalonians – to see what the Bible says about the Rapture and Christ’s return.
Matthew 24 – Jesus’ own words about the end of the age.
Daniel – prophecies about kingdoms and the final seven-year period.
Revelation – an overview of the events and judgments that are coming.
The pressures you will face will be intense. You will need to cling to God and His Word. Ask God to give you strength and courage to stand for truth no matter what comes.
While some details may feel confusing, the Bible gives a clear outline of the general flow of events in the years ahead.
In the chaos that follows the Rapture, a charismatic world leader will emerge. He will seem wise, strong, and capable of bringing peace and stability. The Bible refers to him as the Antichrist.
Daniel 9:27 describes a covenant involving Israel that begins a seven-year period often called “Daniel’s seventieth week.” This agreement will look like a breakthrough for peace, but it will eventually be broken.
In the middle of the seven years, he will betray his promises. The Bible says he will enter a rebuilt Temple in Jerusalem, stop the sacrifices, declare himself to be God, and demand worship. Jesus called this the abomination of desolation (see Matthew 24:15).
Revelation 13 describes a world system where people cannot buy or sell unless they receive a mark that shows allegiance to this leader.
Do not take this mark, no matter what it costs you.
It represents loyalty to the Antichrist and rejection of the true Christ.
The book of Revelation describes a series of seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments that will affect every part of life on earth. War, famine, disease, natural catastrophe, and spiritual deception will increase. Jesus said this time will be worse than anything the world has ever seen.
Following Jesus in this time will be costly. Some who come to faith after the Rapture will face persecution, imprisonment, or even death for their faith. Yet God promises eternal life to those who trust Him.
“Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”
— Revelation 2:10
You will not be the only one who realizes what has happened and turns to Christ. Ask God to lead you to others who are reading the Bible, calling on Jesus, and refusing to follow the Antichrist. You will need each other.
Talk to God honestly about your fears, your questions, and your needs. Ask Him for wisdom and courage. He hears sincere prayer, even in the darkest times.
You may feel terrified, ashamed, or overwhelmed, but you are not beyond the reach of God’s grace. Jesus Christ died for you. He rose again. He knew this moment would come, and He still invites you to come to Him.
At the end of this seven-year period, the Bible says Jesus will return visibly to earth, defeat evil, and establish His kingdom. For all who belong to Him, there is the promise of eternal life in His presence.
You missed the Rapture —
but you do not have to miss salvation.
Turn to Jesus now. Trust Him. Follow Him. Hold on to the hope He offers. Your eternity can still be secure in Him.
This message was written before the Rapture occurred, by people who believed what the Bible says and wanted to leave behind a clear witness for you. Our desire is not to frighten you, but to point you to the only One who can save you: Jesus Christ.
If you are reading this, please do not shrug it off. Seek the Lord while there is still time. He is willing to save all who come to Him.
